APMEN is a unique platform for regional partnership and collaboration for malaria elimination, linking national malaria programs (country partners) with experts from academic, multilateral and non-governmental organisations (partner Institutions) to facilitate progress towards malaria elimination by sharing experiences and lessons from what works, so as to identify and address elimination bottlenecks in the Asia Pacific.

In its first ten years, APMEN has achieved recognition in the region for its efforts to bring elimination into the spotlight and has continually attracted the input of new countries and partners. Key elements of APMEN’s partnership mandate are to complement the work of other elimination partners in the region and continually adapt to the changing malaria elimination needs of Asia Pacific, and of its member countries.
