Getting Malaria Elimination Back on Track in Papua New Guinea

With only 1% of the world’s land mass and a population of under 9 million, Papua New Guinea (PNG) is one of the most biologically and culturally diverse places on earth, and home to over 850 active languages. Unfortunately, PNG also accounts for the highest malaria burden in Asia Pacific region. The country saw a steady decline in malaria cases until 2014 but cases increased ten fold to 600,000 cases in 2019.

How do we help PNG get back on track to end malaria for good?
