The Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network (APMEN), in collaboration with the Thailand Ministry of Public Health and partners, facilitated a 5-day workshop in Bangkok from December 5 – 9, 2014. The workshop aimed to guide the representatives from five APMEN Country Partners – Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand - to develop and draft an advocacy strategy and workplan for country-level resource mobilization to support malaria elimination efforts. The workshop was used to pilot a Roll Back Malaria Partnership (RBM) Advocacy for Resource Mobilization (ARM) Guide, and was co-facilitated by representatives from APMEN, Malaria Consortium, SpeakUp Africa organization, and the Global Health Group, University of California, San Francisco that jointly operates the APMEN secretariat).
