With leadership from the Malaria Elimination Group (MEG) and the UCSF Global Health Group, the Lancet have published a special series of four papers and four comments on malaria elimination. For more information on the series and associated events, please visit the Lancet here or the MEG site here.
On November 16, 2009 the Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs announced that the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID)will provide $7 million over the next five years in support for the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network.
